About me

I am a husband, father, grandfather, Journeyman Carpenter, Building Construction Technologist, Professional Engineer and Business owner. I have lived in Strathcona County for 23 years where my wife Lois (43 years married) and I raised our 3 sons who attended school in Sherwood Park. All three are happily married and we have 9 grandchildren between them.
I have been a Beaver leader, involved in local theatre, Sunday School, youth leader, youth camp director and coached baseball for 13 years. Locally I have worked with Habitat for Humanity, supported Hope Mission and various other small organizations. Internationally Lois and have been involved in building a school in Romania, worked at an orphanage in Mexico and assisted in the start up of a Women’s Shelter in Mexico to support the local women who needed help when they were at their lowest. We love to travel but we also love coming to our home in Strathcona County.

I have a heart for building a strong community that we can all enjoy together.

I have over 40 years as a business owner and over 30 years as a Professional Engineer.

In my career I have worked in almost every region in Western Canada on projects totalling to $3 Billion.
I stand for principles of medical autonomy, informed consent and freedom of choice.

When it comes to vaccinations and other medical issues, I believe that should be a decision each individual makes based on informed consent while working together with their doctor to decide what is best for them.

Get involved. Our freedom is at stake.
